In Tuesday's league outing, the Brantley County Herons (Nahunta, GA) basketball squad felled the host Windsor Forest Knights (Savannah, GA), by a margin of 43-31.
The Herons (11-6) will now prepare for their outing against Pierce County (Blackshear, GA). The Bears go into the AA Region 3 outing with a 8-9 record. In their last outing, Pierce County thwarted Toombs County (Lyons, GA), 44-35, in a league outing.
The Knights now own a 7-10 record. They play next when they travel to Tattnall County for a AA Region 3 outing on Friday, January 20. Windsor Forest will encounter a Warriors squad coming off a 65-31 league win over Vidalia (Vidalia, GA). The Warriors record now stands at 9-7.
