Georgia High School Basketball - Quitman County ripped by Calhoun County

The Calhoun County Cougars basketball team scored 82 points and held the host Quitman County Hornets to 42 in the Cougars league triumph on Tuesday.
The Cougars now sport a 11-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Pataula Charter Academy for a A D2 Region 1A bout on Friday, January 20. Calhoun County will play a Panthers squad coming off a 89-16 league loss to Mitchell County (Camilla, GA). The Panthers record now stands at 2-13.
Next up, the Hornets play the Seminole County Indians (Donalsonville, GA) in a A D2 Region 1B bout, on Friday, January 20. Quitman County will attempt to upgrade on its 1-8 season record. The Indians come into the bout with a 9-7 record after their 48-24 non-league win over Stewart County (Lumpkin, GA).
