Fans at Tuesday's league challenge between the Calhoun Falls Charter Blue Flashes (Calhoun Falls, SC) and the host Dixie Hornets (Due West, SC), saw Calhoun Falls Charter's basketball squad wallop Dixie by a tally of 60-36.
With the victory, Calhoun Falls Charter improves its record to 8-3 on the campaign. The Blue Flashes travel to South Carolina School for the Deaf & Blind (Spartanburg, SC) to confront the Hornets in a challenge on Thursday, January 19. The Hornets come into the challenge with a record of 0-4.
Next up, the Hornets confront the Whitmire Wolverines (Whitmire, SC) in a A Region 2 challenge, on Friday, January 20. Dixie will attempt to improve on its 0-11 season record.
