Callaway Cavaliers (Hogansville, GA) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the host Redan Raiders (Stone Mountain, GA), 53-16 in a league bout.

With the victory, Callaway upgrades its record to 8-4 on the campaign. The Cavaliers host McNair (Atlanta, GA) to play the Mustangs in a AA Region 5 bout on Friday, January 20. The Mustangs come into the bout with a record of 2-9. McNair won 56-37 in their recent league bout against Towers (Decatur, GA)

Next up, the Raiders play the Landmark Christian War Eagles (Fairburn, GA) in a AA Region 5 bout, on Friday, January 20. Redan will attempt to upgrade on its 2-9 season record. The War Eagles come into the bout with a 10-7 record after their 64-35 league win over Columbia (Decatur, GA).
