Nevada High School Basketball - Spring Valley crushes Canyon Springs

Spring Valley Grizzlies (Las Vegas, NV) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the host Canyon Springs Pioneers (North Las Vegas, NV), 62-21 in a league bout.

With the victory, Spring Valley upgrades its record to 11-5 on the campaign. The Grizzlies host Shadow Ridge (Las Vegas, NV) to play the Mustangs in a 5A Southern bout on Thursday, January 19. The Mustangs come into the bout with a record of 10-6. Shadow Ridge won 73-59 in their recent league bout against Bishop Gorman (Las Vegas, NV)

Next up, the Pioneers play the Faith Lutheran Crusaders (Las Vegas, NV) in a 5A Southern bout, on Thursday, January 19. Canyon Springs will attempt to upgrade on its 7-11 season record. The Crusaders come into the bout with a 13-4 record after their 62-57 league loss to Coronado (Henderson, NV).
