The Carthage Bulldogs ran past the host Center Roughriders basketball squad by a count of 47-36 in Tuesday's league challenge.

With the victory, Carthage upgrades its record to 11-15 on the campaign. The Bulldogs host Chapel Hill (Tyler, TX) to play the Bulldogs in a 4A Region III District 17 challenge on Friday, January 20. The Bulldogs come into the challenge with a record of 18-7. Chapel Hill won 48-29 in their recent league challenge against Kilgore (Kilgore, TX)

Next up, the Roughriders play the Chapel Hill Bulldogs (Tyler, TX) in a 4A Region III District 17 challenge, on Tuesday, January 24. Center will attempt to upgrade on its 7-12 season record.
