The Central Springs Panthers (Manly, IA) basketball crushed the visiting North Butler Bearcats (Greene, IA), 46-18 in Tuesday's league test.
The Panthers (7-6) will now prepare for their test against Nashua-Plainfield (Nashua, IA). The Huskies go into the Corn Bowl test with a 4-10 record. In their last test, Nashua-Plainfield was trounced by Newman Catholic (Mason City, IA), 47-26, in a non-league test.
The Bearcats now own a 4-10 record. They play next when they host St. Ansgar for a Corn Bowl test on Friday, January 20. North Butler will encounter a Saints squad coming off a 49-38 non-league loss to Osage (Osage, IA). The Saints record now stands at 10-5.
