The Centreville Wildcats basketball team (Clifton, VA), was nudged 59-52 in Tuesday's league battle with the host Chantilly Chargers (Chantilly, VA)

The Chargers now possess a 6-8 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Westfield for a District 1 battle on Friday, January 20. Chantilly will battle a Bulldogs team coming off a 49-39 league loss to South Lakes (Reston, VA). The Bulldogs record now stands at 4-10.

The Wildcats (10-4) will now prepare for their battle against Oakton (Vienna, VA). The Cougars come into the District 1 battle with a 10-3 record. In their last battle, Oakton was tipped by James Madison (Vienna, VA), 20-15, in a league outing.
