The Scottsbluff Bearcats (Scottsbluff, NE) basketball knocked off the host Chadron Cardinals (Chadron, NE), 63-50 in Tuesday's non-league test.
The Bearcats (12-4) will now prepare for their test against Gering (Gering, NE). The Bulldogs go into the B District 8 test with a 3-12 record. In their last test, Gering went down by Chadron (Chadron, NE), 50-31, in a non-league test.
The Cardinals now own a 7-7 record. They play next when they travel to Gering for a non-league test on Friday, January 20. Chadron will encounter a Bulldogs squad coming off a 41-35 non-league loss to Gordon-Rushville (Gordon, NE). The Bulldogs record now stands at 3-11.
