North Carolina High School Basketball - Chatham Central overwhelms North Moore

Fans at Tuesday's league challenge between the Chatham Central Bears (Bear Creek, NC) and the host North Moore Mustangs (Robbins, NC), saw Chatham Central's basketball squad wallop North Moore by a tally of 53-26.

With the victory, Chatham Central improves its record to 9-5 on the campaign. The Bears host Jordan-Matthews (Siler City, NC) to play the Jets in a 1A/2A Conference 14 challenge on Thursday, January 19. The Jets come into the challenge with a record of 0-13. Jordan-Matthews lost 64-17 in their recent league challenge against Bartlett Yancey (Yanceyville, NC)

Next up, the Mustangs play the Seaforth Hawks (Pittsboro, NC) in a 1A/2A Conference 14 challenge, on Wednesday, January 18. North Moore will attempt to improve on its 3-5 season record. The Hawks come into the challenge with a 12-2 record after their 54-18 league win over Graham (Graham, NC).
