The Cheektowaga Warriors basketball team (Cheektowaga, NY), was overwhelmed 55-33 in Tuesday's league battle with the host Lake Shore Eagles (Angola, NY)
The Eagles now possess a 6-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Pioneer for a Section 6 Erie County III battle on Thursday, January 19. Lake Shore will battle a Panthers team coming off a 65-17 league win over Maryvale (Cheektowaga, NY). The Panthers record now stands at 6-4.
The Warriors (3-7) will now prepare for their battle against Depew (Depew, NY). The Wildcats come into the Section 6 Erie County III battle with a 10-1 record. In their last battle, Depew trounced Lackawanna (Lackawanna, NY), 83-15, in a league battle.
