North Carolina High School Basketball - Cherryville topped by East Gaston

The East Gaston Warriors basketball team scored 53 points and restricted the host Cherryville Ironmen to 37 in the Warriors league victory on Tuesday.
The Warriors now sport a 3-12 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Highland Tech for a 1A/2A Conference 40 contest on Friday, January 20. East Gaston will battle a Rams team coming off a 47-23 non-league win over Bradford Prep (Charlotte, NC). The Rams record now stands at 5-10.
The Ironmen (2-14) will now prepare for their contest against Pinnacle Classical Academy (Shelby, NC). The Eagles come into the non-league contest with a 6-4 record. In their last contest, Pinnacle Classical Academy was defeated by The Master's Academy (Forest City, NC), 43-42, in a league contest.
