In Tuesday's league outing, the Legacy Academy Silverbacks (Albuquerque, NM) basketball squad overwhelmed the visiting Chesterton Academy Saints (Albuquerque, NM), by a count of 47-21.

The Silverbacks (4-7) will now prepare for their outing against Cuba (Cuba, NM). The Rams go into the non-league outing with a 4-11 record.

The Saints now hold a 1-4 record. They play next when they travel to Evangel Christian Academy/Oak Grove Classical Academy for a A District 7 outing on Thursday, January 19. Chesterton Academy will clash with a Eagle squad coming off a 55-14 league win over New Mexico School for the Deaf (Santa Fe, NM). The Eagle record now stands at 8-3.
