California High School Basketball - Christopher thwarts Oak Grove

The Christopher Cougars (Gilroy, CA) basketball knocked off the visiting Oak Grove Eagles (San Jose, CA), 62-43 in Tuesday's league test.

The Cougars (12-3) will now prepare for their test against Pioneer (San Jose, CA). The Mustangs go into the Blossom Valley - Mt. Hamilton test with a 8-6 record. In their last test, Pioneer went down by Lynbrook (San Jose, CA), 39-26, in a non-league test.

The Eagles now own a 7-8 record. They play next when they host Evergreen Valley for a Blossom Valley - Mt. Hamilton test on Thursday, January 19. Oak Grove will encounter a Cougars squad coming off a 66-56 league loss to Branham (San Jose, CA). The Cougars record now stands at 11-5.
