The Colts Neck Cougars basketball team (Colts Neck, NJ), was overwhelmed 69-41 in Tuesday's league battle with the visiting Rumson-Fair Haven Bulldogs (Rumson, NJ)
The Bulldogs now possess a 7-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Marlboro for a non-league battle on Saturday, January 21. Rumson-Fair Haven will battle a Mustangs team coming off a 85-19 non-league loss to Paul VI (Haddonfield, NJ). The Mustangs record now stands at 6-5.
The Cougars (5-7) will now prepare for their battle against Red Bank Regional (Little Silver, NJ). The Bucs come into the Shore A - Central battle with a 6-4 record. In their last battle, Red Bank Regional trounced Middletown North (Middletown, NJ), 68-34, in a league battle.
