With the win, Pekin upgrades its record to 1-14 on the season. The Panthers host Columbus (Waterloo, IA) to clash with the Sailors in a non-league bout on Tuesday, January 17. The Sailors go into the bout with a record of 5-11. Columbus lost 74-39 in their recent league bout against Aplington-Parkersburg (Parkersburg, IA)

Next up, the Wildcats clash with the New Hampton Chickasaws (New Hampton, IA) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, January 17. Columbus will attempt to upgrade on its 7-9 season record. The Chickasaws go into the bout with a 5-7 record after their 71-37 league loss to Waverly-Shell Rock (Waverly, IA).
