In Tuesday's league match, the visiting Corner Yellow Jackets basketball team scored a good 34-21 triumph over the Oak Grove Tigers.
In their next game, the Yellow Jackets meet the St. Clair County Fighting Saints (Odenville, AL) in a non-league match, on Thursday, February 2. Corner will attempt to move on its 4-12 season record. The Fighting Saints enter the match with a 16-6 record after their 74-42 non-league win over Westbrook Christian (Rainbow City, AL).
With the defeat, Oak Grove moves to 7-11 on the year. The Tigers travel to Sumiton Christian (Sumiton, AL) to meet the Eagles in a non-league match on Thursday, January 19. The Eagles enter the match with a record of 2-6.
