The Cottonwood Bears (Cottonwood, AL) basketball crushed the host Wicksburg Panthers (Newton, AL), 46-14 in Tuesday's league test.
The Bears (10-5) will now prepare for their test against Samson (Samson, AL). The Tigers go into the 2A Area 2 test with a 5-3 record. In their last test, Samson was trounced by Cottonwood (Cottonwood, AL), 69-66, in a league test.
The Panthers now own a 1-4 record. They play next when they host Elba for a non-league test on Thursday, January 26.
