The Fighting Blues now possess a 9-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Narrows for a Pioneer battle on Friday, January 20. Parry McCluer will confront a Green Waves team coming off a 46-40 non-league loss to Fort Chiswell (Max Meadows, VA). The Green Waves record now stands at 7-8.

The Rockets (1-10) will now prepare for their battle against Covington (Covington, VA). The Cougars come into the Pioneer battle with a 1-14 record. In their last battle, Covington was overwhelmed by North Cross (Roanoke, VA), 46-35, in a non-league battle.
