The Lone Star Rangers basketball team scored 54 points and held the visiting Creekview Mustangs to 31 in the Rangers league triumph on Tuesday.

With the win, Lone Star upgrades its record to 10-11 on the season. The Rangers travel to Frisco (Frisco, TX) to play the Raccoons in a 5A Region II District 9 bout on Friday, January 20. The Raccoons go into the bout with a record of 16-9. Frisco won 52-37 in their recent league bout against Newman Smith (Carrollton, TX)

Next up, the Mustangs play the Turner Lions (Carrollton, TX) in a 5A Region II District 9 bout, on Friday, January 20. Creekview will attempt to upgrade on its 6-7 season record. The Lions go into the bout with a 5-20 record after their 64-21 league loss to The Colony (The Colony, TX).
