Georgia High School Basketball - Darlington crushes Pepperell

Darlington Tigers (Rome, GA) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Pepperell Dragons (Lindale, GA), 48-23 in a league bout.

With the win, Darlington upgrades its record to 16-4 on the season. The Tigers travel to Coosa (Rome, GA) to play the Eagles in a A D1 Region 7 bout on Friday, January 20. The Eagles go into the bout with a record of 3-17. Coosa lost 30-28 in their recent league bout against Dade County (Trenton, GA)

Next up, the Dragons play the Armuchee Indians (Rome, GA) in a A D1 Region 7 bout, on Friday, January 20. Pepperell will attempt to upgrade on its 12-5 season record. The Indians go into the bout with a 11-8 record after their 61-10 league win over Dalton Academy (Dalton, GA).
