In Tuesday's league outing, the Sacred Heart-Griffin Cyclones (Springfield, IL) basketball squad beat the host Decatur Eisenhower Panthers (Decatur, IL), by a margin of 47-30.
The Cyclones (17-5) will now prepare for their outing against Glenwood (Chatham, IL). The Titans go into the Central State Eight outing with a 9-11 record. In their last outing, Glenwood was beaten by Springfield Southeast (Springfield, IL), 55-34, in a league outing.
The Panthers now own a 3-16 record. They play next when they travel to Lanphier for a Central State Eight outing on Saturday, January 21. Decatur Eisenhower will clash with a Lions squad coming off a 50-33 league loss to Jacksonville (Jacksonville, IL). The Lions record now stands at 2-16.
