With the victory, Del Valle upgrades its record to 10-12 on the campaign. The Conquistadores travel to Bel Air (El Paso, TX) to play the Highlanders in a 5A Region I District 2 bout on Friday, January 20. The Highlanders come into the bout with a record of 16-6. Bel Air won 63-12 in their recent league bout against Horizon (El Paso, TX)

Next up, the Indians play the Hanks Knights (El Paso, TX) in a 5A Region I District 2 bout, on Friday, January 20. Ysleta will attempt to upgrade on its 13-10 season record. The Knights come into the bout with a 10-9 record after their 46-24 league win over Parkland (El Paso, TX).
