Delta Rabbits (Delta, UT) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the host Manti Templars (Manti, UT), 62-57 in a league bout.

With the victory, Delta upgrades its record to 6-9 on the campaign. The Rabbits host Union (Roosevelt, UT) to play the Cougars in a 3A Region 14 bout on Thursday, January 19. The Cougars come into the bout with a record of 1-14. Union lost 72-38 in their recent league bout against Manti (Manti, UT)

Next up, the Templars play the North Sanpete Hawks (Mt. Pleasant, UT) in a 3A Region 14 game, on Thursday, January 19. Manti will attempt to move on its 7-9 season record. The Hawks enter the game with a 4-9 record after their 49-41 league loss to Juab (Nephi, UT).
