The Lumberjacks (7-12) will now prepare for their test against Pineywoods Community Academy (Lufkin, TX). The Timberwolves go into the 3A Region III District 21 test with a 13-8 record. In their last test, Pineywoods Community Academy went down by Central Heights (Nacogdoches, TX), 67-41, in a league test.

The Hornets now own a 2-13 record. They play next when they host Woodville for a 3A Region III District 21 test on Friday, January 20. Hemphill will encounter a Eagles squad coming off a 50-40 league loss to Huntington (Huntington, TX). The Eagles record now stands at 15-11.
