The Villa Walsh Academy Vikings basketball team scored 35 points and held the visiting Dover Tigers to 9 in the Vikings non-league triumph on Tuesday.

The Vikings now sport a 5-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Whippany Park for a Freelance contest on Thursday, January 19. Villa Walsh Academy will meet a Wildcats team coming off a 34-15 league loss to Boonton (Boonton, NJ). The Wildcats record now stands at 1-9.

The Tigers (0-7) will now prepare for their contest against Academy of St. Elizabeth (Convent Station, NJ). The Panthers enter the Northwest Jersey - Independence contest with a 5-7 record. In their last contest, Academy of St. Elizabeth was routed by Hanover Park (East Hanover, NJ), 51-48, in a league contest.
