In Tuesday's league outing, the Whittier RVT Wildcats (Haverhill, MA) basketball squad edged the visiting Essex Tech Hawks (Hathorne, MA), by a count of 43-41.
The Wildcats (1-3) will now prepare for their outing against Mystic Valley Regional (Malden, MA). The Eagles go into the Commonwealth - Upper outing with a 3-4 record.
The Hawks now hold a 4-5 record. They play next when they host Marblehead for a non-league outing on Thursday, January 19.
