Hull-Daisetta Bobcats (Daisetta, TX) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Evadale Rebels (Evadale, TX), 62-57 in a league bout.

With the win, Hull-Daisetta upgrades its record to 6-5 on the season. The Bobcats travel to Big Sandy (Dallardsville, TX) to play the Wildcats in a 2A Region IV District 25 bout on Friday, January 20. The Wildcats go into the bout with a record of 8-3.

Next up, the Rebels play the Sabine Pass Sharks (Sabine Pass, TX) in a 2A Region IV District 25 bout, on Friday, January 20. Evadale will attempt to upgrade on its 22-6 season record. The Sharks go into the bout with a 1-7 record after their 41-7 league loss to Deweyville (Deweyville, TX).
