Terrell Tigers (Terrell, TX) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Forney Jackrabbits (Forney, TX), 45-25 in a league bout.

With the win, Terrell upgrades its record to 16-13 on the season. The Tigers travel to Lancaster (Lancaster, TX) to play the Tigers in a 5A Region II District 14 bout on Friday, January 20. The Tigers go into the bout with a record of 6-12. Lancaster lost 56-51 in their recent league bout against Forney (Forney, TX)

Next up, the Jackrabbits play the Crandall Pirates (Crandall, TX) in a 5A Region II District 14 bout, on Friday, January 20. Forney will attempt to upgrade on its 13-16 season record. The Pirates go into the bout with a 17-10 record after their 69-35 league win over Corsicana (Corsicana, TX).
