Water Valley Wildcats (Water Valley, TX) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Forsan Buffaloes (Forsan, TX), 47-43 in a league bout.

With the win, Water Valley upgrades its record to 19-7 on the season. The Wildcats travel to Eldorado (Eldorado, TX) to play the Eagles in a 2A Region I District 7 bout on Friday, January 20. The Eagles go into the bout with a record of 23-6. Eldorado lost 46-39 in their recent league bout against Ozona (Ozona, TX)

Next up, the Buffaloes play the Christoval Cougars (Christoval, TX) in a 2A Region I District 7 bout, on Friday, January 20. Forsan will attempt to upgrade on its 4-14 season record. The Cougars go into the bout with a 15-11 record after their 74-41 league win over Reagan County (Big Lake, TX).
