Virginia High School Basketball - Grayson County knocked off by Fort Chiswell

The Fort Chiswell Pioneers basketball team scored 58 points and held the visiting Grayson County Blue Devils to 39 in the Pioneers league triumph on Tuesday.

The Pioneers now sport a 9-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Narrows for a non-league contest on Wednesday, January 18. Fort Chiswell will battle a Green Waves team coming off a 49-37 league loss to Eastern Montgomery (Elliston, VA). The Green Waves record now stands at 7-7.

The Blue Devils (5-9) will now prepare for their contest against Giles (Pearisburg, VA). The Spartans enter the Mountain Empire contest with a 0-12 record.
