Lake Mead Academy Eagles (Henderson, NV) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Founders Academy Centurions (Las Vegas, NV), 50-1 in a league bout.

With the win, Lake Mead Academy upgrades its record to 8-5 on the season. The Eagles travel to Laughlin (Laughlin, NV) to clash with the Cougars in a 2A Southern bout on Wednesday, January 18. The Cougars go into the bout with a record of 8-8. Laughlin lost 43-23 in their recent league bout against Lincoln County (Panaca, NV)

Next up, the Centurions clash with the Lincoln County Lynx (Panaca, NV) in a 2A Southern bout, on Friday, January 20. Founders Academy will attempt to upgrade on its 0-9 season record. The Lynx go into the bout with a 12-5 record after their 43-23 league win over Laughlin (Laughlin, NV).
