The Frederica Academy (St. Simons Island, GA) basketball nipped the visiting Pinewood Christian Patriots (Bellville, GA), 39-38 in Tuesday's league test.
The (10-6) will now prepare for their test against Bulloch Academy (Statesboro, GA). The Gators go into the GIAA AAAA/AAA District 2 test with a 13-6 record. In their last test, Bulloch Academy got by St. Andrew's (Savannah, GA), 55-18, in a league test.
The Patriots now own a 9-8 record. They play next when they travel to St. Andrew's for a GIAA AAAA/AAA District 2 test on Friday, January 20. Pinewood Christian will encounter a Lions squad coming off a 55-18 league loss to Bulloch Academy (Statesboro, GA). The Lions record now stands at 4-11.
