Maryland High School Basketball - Friendly edges Potomac

The Friendly Patriots (Fort Washington, MD) basketball nipped the host Potomac Wolverines (Oxon Hill, MD), 19-15 in Tuesday's league test.

The Patriots (4-6) will now prepare for their test against Crossland (Temple Hills, MD). The Cavaliers go into the Prince George's County 3A/2A/1A test with a 0-6 record. In their last test, Crossland was tipped by Central (Capitol Heights, MD), 64-13, in a league test.

The Wolverines now own a 1-6 record. They play next when they host Oxon Hill for a Prince George's County 3A/2A/1A test on Thursday, January 19. Potomac will encounter a Clippers squad coming off a 60-27 league win over Douglass (Upper Marlboro, MD). The Clippers record now stands at 11-2.
