Glenbard South Raiders (Glen Ellyn, IL) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host South Elgin Storm (South Elgin, IL), 48-28 in a league bout.

With the win, Glenbard South upgrades its record to 16-5 on the season. The Raiders host West Chicago (West Chicago, IL) to play the Wildcats in a Upstate Eight bout on Friday, January 20. The Wildcats go into the bout with a record of 16-8. West Chicago won 49-38 in their recent league bout against Bartlett (Bartlett, IL)

Next up, the Storm play the Larkin Royals (Elgin, IL) in a Upstate Eight bout, on Friday, January 20. South Elgin will attempt to upgrade on its 9-14 season record. The Royals go into the bout with a 11-11 record after their 65-49 non-league win over Elgin (Elgin, IL).
