Alabama High School Basketball - Springwood overwhelmed by Glenwood

The Glenwood Gators basketball team scored 70 points and restricted the host Springwood Wildcats to 21 in the Gators league victory on Tuesday.
The Gators now sport a 14-6 record. They put it on the line next when they host Macon-East Montgomery Academy for a AISA AAA Region 1 contest on Thursday, January 19. Glenwood will battle a Knights team coming off a 62-47 league loss to Springwood (Lanett, AL). The Knights record now stands at 1-10.
The Wildcats (6-7) will now prepare for their contest against Lee-Scott Academy (Auburn, AL). The Warriors come into the AISA AAA Region 1 contest with a 3-7 record. In their last contest, Lee-Scott Academy was routed by Glenwood (Phenix City, AL), 53-42, in a league contest.
