New Mexico High School Basketball - Valencia overwhelms Grants

Fans at Tuesday's league challenge between the Valencia Jaguars (Los Lunas, NM) and the visiting Grants Pirates (Grants, NM), saw Valencia's basketball squad wallop Grants by a tally of 61-30.
With the victory, Valencia improves its record to 13-5 on the campaign. The Jaguars travel to St. Pius X (Albuquerque, NM) to play the Sartans in a 4A District 5 challenge on Tuesday, January 24. The Sartans come into the challenge with a record of 10-5.
Next up, the Pirates play the St. Pius X Sartans (Albuquerque, NM) in a 4A District 5 challenge, on Friday, January 20. Grants will attempt to improve on its 8-10 season record.
