Stanton Vikings (Stanton, IA) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the visiting Griswold Tigers (Griswold, IA), 76-22 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Stanton upgrades its record to 12-2 on the campaign. The Vikings travel to Sidney (Sidney, IA) to play the Cowboys in a non-league bout on Thursday, January 19. The Cowboys come into the bout with a record of 3-9. Sidney lost 60-19 in their recent non-league bout against Griswold (Griswold, IA)

Next up, the Tigers play the Tri-Center Trojans (Neola, IA) in a Western Iowa bout, on Saturday, January 21. Griswold will attempt to upgrade on its 3-13 season record. The Trojans come into the bout with a 7-7 record after their 52-36 league win over IKM/Manning (Manning, IA).
