Philip Simmons Iron Horses (Charleston, SC) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Hanahan Hawks (Hanahan, SC), 38-14 in a league bout.

With the win, Philip Simmons upgrades its record to 14-4 on the season. The Iron Horses travel to Battery Creek (Beaufort, SC) to play the Dolphins in a AAA Region 8 bout on Friday, January 20. The Dolphins go into the bout with a record of 8-4. Battery Creek won 35-25 in their recent league bout against Hanahan (Hanahan, SC)

Next up, the Hawks play the Beaufort Eagles (Beaufort, SC) in a AAA Region 8 bout, on Friday, January 20. Hanahan will attempt to upgrade on its 7-10 season record. The Eagles go into the bout with a 6-8 record after their 60-30 league win over North Charleston (North Charleston, SC).
