Lake Placid Dragons (Lake Placid, FL) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Hardee Wildcats (Wauchula, FL), 33-27 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Lake Placid upgrades its record to 7-7 on the season. The Dragons travel to LaBelle (LaBelle, FL) to clash with the Cowboys in a non-league bout on Thursday, January 19. The Cowboys go into the bout with a record of 17-6. LaBelle won 57-23 in their recent league bout against Clewiston (Clewiston, FL)

Next up, the Wildcats clash with the Fort Meade Miners (Fort Meade, FL) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, January 19. Hardee will attempt to upgrade on its 3-11 season record. The Miners go into the bout with a 3-6 record after their 38-23 non-league loss to Jordan Christian Prep (Auburndale, FL).
