In Tuesday's league outing, the Healdsburg Greyhounds (Healdsburg, CA) basketball squad overwhelmed the host Piner Prospectors (Santa Rosa, CA), by a margin of 65-17.

The Greyhounds (17-3) will now prepare for their outing against Rancho Cotate (Rohnert Park, CA). The Cougars go into the North Bay - Redwood outing with a 9-11 record. In their last outing, Rancho Cotate was trounced by Windsor (Windsor, CA), 53-48, in a league outing.

The Prospectors now own a 5-13 record. They play next when they travel to St. Vincent de Paul for a North Bay - Redwood outing on Thursday, January 19. Piner will encounter a Mustangs squad coming off a 48-25 non-league loss to Sonoma Academy (Santa Rosa, CA). The Mustangs record now stands at 8-9.
