Maryland High School Basketball - Wise trounces High Point

The Wise Pumas (Upper Marlboro, MD) basketball crushed the host High Point Eagles (Beltsville, MD), 56-5 in Tuesday's league test.

The Pumas (10-1) will now prepare for their test against Bladensburg (Bladensburg, MD). The Mustangs go into the Prince George's County 4A test with a 0-7 record. In their last test, Bladensburg was trounced by DuVal (Lanham, MD), 57-11, in a league test.

The Eagles now own a 0-8 record. They play next when they travel to Bowie for a Prince George's County 4A test on Thursday, January 19. High Point will encounter a Bulldogs squad coming off a 68-18 league win over Northwestern (Hyattsville, MD). The Bulldogs record now stands at 8-3.
