Highland Park Scots (Dallas, TX) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the visiting Richardson Eagles (Richardson, TX), 60-48 in a league bout.

With the victory, Highland Park upgrades its record to 19-7 on the campaign. The Scots host MacArthur (Irving, TX) to play the Cardinals in a 6A Region I District 7 bout on Friday, January 20. The Cardinals come into the bout with a record of 11-11. MacArthur won 47-36 in their recent league bout against Irving (Irving, TX)

Next up, the Eagles play the Lake Highlands Wildcats (Dallas, TX) in a 6A Region I District 7 bout, on Friday, January 20. Richardson will attempt to upgrade on its 12-14 season record. The Wildcats come into the bout with a 10-14 record after their 61-45 league win over Nimitz (Irving, TX).
