The Highlands Scots basketball team (North Highlands, CA), was nudged 38-34 in Tuesday's league battle with the host Rio Vista Rams (Rio Vista, CA)
The Rams now possess a 3-8 record. They put it on the line next when they host San Juan for a Sierra Delta League battle on Friday, January 20. Rio Vista will battle a Spartans team coming off a 37-34 league loss to Golden Sierra (Garden Valley, CA). The Spartans record now stands at 4-5.
The Scots (8-8) will now prepare for their battle against Vacaville Christian (Vacaville, CA). The Falcons come into the Sierra Delta League battle with a 1-9 record. In their last battle, Vacaville Christian edged Esparto (Esparto, CA), 48-22, in a league battle.
