Alabama High School Basketball - Horseshoe Bend thwarts Randolph County

The Horseshoe Bend Generals (New Site, AL) basketball knocked off the visiting Randolph County Tigers (Wedowee, AL), 54-35 in Tuesday's non-league test.
The Generals (3-6) will now prepare for their test against Beauregard (Opelika, AL). The Hornets go into the non-league test with a 5-6 record. In their last test, Beauregard notched a victory over Tallassee (Tallassee, AL), 51-17, in a league test.
The Tigers now sport a 2-10 record. They put it on the line next when they host Beulah for a 3A Area 8 contest on Tuesday, January 24. Randolph County will battle a Bobcats team coming off a 46-28 non-league win over Beauregard (Opelika, AL). The Bobcats record now stands at 5-6.
