In Tuesday's league outing, the Washington Rams (Phoenix, AZ) basketball squad overwhelmed the visiting Independence Patriots (Glendale, AZ), by a margin of 49-6.
The Rams (7-3) will now prepare for their outing against Chaparral (Scottsdale, AZ). The Firebirds go into the non-league outing with a 7-12 record. In their last outing, Chaparral was trounced by Notre Dame Prep (Scottsdale, AZ), 75-43, in a league outing.
The Patriots now own a 1-12 record. They play next when they host Buckeye for a 5A Central Valley outing on Thursday, January 19. Independence will clash with a Hawks squad coming off a 52-25 league win over Copper Canyon (Glendale, AZ). The Hawks record now stands at 14-6.
