The Verdigris Cardinals (Claremore, OK) basketball knocked off the visiting Inola Longhorns (Inola, OK), 48-31 in Tuesday's league test.
The Cardinals (10-3) will now prepare for their test against Miami (Miami, OK). The Wardogs go into the Verdigris Valley test with a 1-8 record. In their last test, Miami went down by Fort Gibson (Fort Gibson, OK), 70-19, in a league test.
The Longhorns now own a 0-1 record. They play next when they host Adair for a non-league test on Tuesday, January 24. Inola will encounter a Warriors squad coming off a 64-50 non-league win over Colcord (Colcord, OK). The Warriors record now stands at 2-1.
