Georgia High School Basketball - Jenkins County overwhelmed by Montgomery County

The Jenkins County War Eagles basketball team (Millen, GA), was overwhelmed 52-28 in Tuesday's league battle with the visiting Montgomery County Eagles (Mt. Vernon, GA)

The Eagles now possess a 17-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Emanuel County Institute for a A D2 Region 3 battle on Friday, January 20. Montgomery County will confront a Bulldogs team coming off a 44-42 non-league loss to Metter (Metter, GA). The Bulldogs record now stands at 1-11.

The War Eagles (13-4) will now prepare for their battle against Portal (Portal, GA). The Panthers come into the A D2 Region 3 battle with a 3-12 record. In their last battle, Portal was overwhelmed by McIntosh County Academy (Darien, GA), 46-25, in a league battle.
