The Kalamazoo Central Maroon Giants (Kalamazoo, MI) basketball felled the host Lakeshore Lancers (Stevensville, MI), 69-55 in Tuesday's non-league test.

The Maroon Giants (8-1) will now prepare for their test against Central (Battle Creek, MI). The Bearcats go into the Southwestern Michigan - East test with a 2-7 record. In their last test, Central was beaten by Mattawan (Mattawan, MI), 54-35, in a non-league test.

The Lancers now own a 7-3 record. They play next when they travel to Portage Northern for a Southwestern Michigan - West test on Thursday, January 19. Lakeshore will encounter a Huskies squad coming off a 29-21 non-league loss to Gull Lake (Richland, MI). The Huskies record now stands at 1-8.
