Texas High School Basketball - Nimitz topped by Lake Highlands

The Lake Highlands Wildcats basketball team scored 61 points and restricted the host Nimitz Vikings to 45 in the Wildcats league victory on Tuesday.
The Wildcats now sport a 10-14 record. They put it on the line next when they host Richardson for a 6A Region I District 7 contest on Friday, January 20. Lake Highlands will battle a Eagles team coming off a 60-48 league loss to Highland Park (Dallas, TX). The Eagles record now stands at 12-14.
The Vikings (8-16) will now prepare for their contest against Pearce (Richardson, TX). The Mustangs come into the 6A Region I District 7 contest with a 14-13 record. In their last contest, Pearce prevailed over Berkner (Richardson, TX), 36-34, in a league contest.
